About our Club/Contacting Us

Brief History of The Cheltenham Warchiefs
"Our club was formed in 1996 by founder members Mike Pert and Jerry Marshall. It began with a regular meet in Mike's flat and then moved to St Marks Community Centre Cheltenham.
And in 2001 we moved to the Hatherley and Reddings Cricket club with our first home run event held in 2005 and with more and more events being planned for the future"

Cheltenham Warchiefs
meet on a
Monday night at 7.00pm.
We meet at Hatherley and Reddings Cricket Club on Shurdington Road in Cheltenham

Members pay £3 per evening (First evening free to new members)
We play a huge variety of games and scales, and are avid painters, scenery builders and hobby enthusiasts. Members like nothing better that to share skills, knowledge and the odd historical fact or two.

Best of all we have fun which underlines everything we do!

We are pretty much up for trying any new game so please let us know and we'll give it a go
(and we'll find someone to play
you).

Contacting and Finding Us

We have an open bar most nights and as such only accept members 16 years old and over (quite a bit over in some cases)!

We don't all have beards and it's very rare you'll see a chunky sweater but yes we are most definetely geeks. We have female members! so ladies don't be afraid if you want to join us.

As a club we endeavour to make sure that everyone has a good night and feels a part of our community. All our members are friendly and happy to help out new members with training games, painting tips etc.

- We STRONGLY discourage any cheating and beardiness.

 - We STRONGLY encourage fairness. If there are rules disputes these will be resolved by a dice roll or by another club member. We always like to discuss rule queries or discrepancies as a club.
