Hot off the Press...

   One day Event
(posted 19th February 2010)
Toby has organised a one day event on Sunday the 21st March 2010 for Warhammer and 40k players to enjoy a themed and narrative day's gaming whilst the hall is still open to anyone else to pop down and play a game or games that they wouldn't normally get in on a club night. The details on this are on the club forum for viewing. Or just ask one of us at club next time your up.

    AGM Result
(posted 9th February 2010)
Well the AGM has been held and was another sucess in that their wasn't too much to be brought up so we could instead have a few laughs at each other. The main change as some of you may have seen is that Mike has stepped down as Predisent and John has now taken over with a popular vote. His fiirst act has been to re organise and vote for the new comittee, which you can see on this website. This has allowed us to now focus on getting scenery and concentrating on gaming plans for the club with an event planned for next month.

AGM
    (posted 26th January 2010)
The club's AGM will be held jst before February 1st's gaming night, so if you've got anyhting to say. Say it! this is a great way to have a big imput into your club and find out what's happening behind the scenes.

Club Bowling trip
 (posted 26th January 2010)
As we didn't have a club christmas bash this year we decided to treat you all to a few games of Bowling instead. A good way to met the new members and to all get a little friendlier as well as having a good time (the main point)
The date is the 30th of January, the time 7.30pm start! so be their before and the location- Cotswold bowl before it closes down.

Rank and File!
(posted 15th January 2010)
The club has just recently decided to go for ACW. Do not be alarmed their is no massive cost or rules jargen to try and follow. The club specifically chose a simple rule set similiar to other games we play to make the option for people if they wanted to play this period easy. Also the decision was made due to a massive increas in cheap plastic armies out their.

2010 Club
 (posted 1st January 2010)
Next year and during the christmas break the club will not be dormant, behind the scenes some committee members are organising events, re organising how we operate and finding ways to improve your! club for next year. Starting with a planned night out at the bowling for our anual meeting aswell as a new website format and club message board upgrade at club.

New Web layout
(posted 1st January 2010)
Due the ever growing amount of game our club participate in playing we have been forced to re arrange how we show off the systems we play to others, games which we play but are very rarely played have been removed, other systems which are very frequent have their own pages and then their are those that are played regulary but aren't every week which have been grouped into their generic page.

Hopefully this makes it easier for people to view, reduces the amount of space taken up and makes the web relevant.

Welcome back
(posted 1st January 2010)
It's now the start of a brand new year of gaming. With a fresh club league, scehduling for tournaments for the year ahead and new projects. So this is the offical welcome back for the CWC members. Now the mince pies have all gone, dodgy gifts been used up and all the abnormal drinks have been used up it's time to get back to WAR and continue the Warchiefs path to world domination.
